Whakatane Golf Club's par 70, 6009m course is located on the eastern seaboard of New Zealand's famous Bay of Plenty coastline, on Golf Links Road adjacent to the Whakatane airport. With its beautiful red-flowering Pohutukawa trees and clearly visible Whale Island, a fish & bird sanctuary, on one side and Mount Edgecumbe on the other, the club offers visitors a unique and memorable experience.
The Bay of Plenty is renowned for its great weather, crisp sunny winter days through to glorious summer days, with the beach minutes away and only a short drive to the town centre, there are few New Zealand course's that can match its location.
